The official APEC green, electric mobility partner and leading electric vehicle maker EMotors, Inc. ( EMI ) partners with The Shangri-La at the Fort as the latest initiative to tackle pollution and lower our carbon footprint while creating jobs and livelihood that likewise encourages women drivers.

EMotors, the multi-awarded social enterprise and local manufacturer and assembler of electric 3-wheel vehicles, together with the renowned luxury hotel The Shangri-La at the Fort, collaborated to promote the use and benefits of sustainable transport in helping mitigate climate change by lowering CO2 emissions using 100% pure electric zero-emission ZÜM vehicles.

The collaboration aims to inform, inspire, and engage stakeholders and the community at large on the impact of CO2 emissions on the environment and the importance of using clean, green electric transport such as the ZÜM e-vehicles.

Research show that CO2 lasts about 100 years in the atmosphere once emitted. This means, reducing if not eliminating the source of CO2 emissions today would not only have an immediate benefit to our health, but have a far-reaching benefit for generations to come.

The Shangri-La group participates in the Carbon Disclosure Project with yearly submissions since 2011 while EMotors dedicates its resources in providing clean, innovative solutions to corporate clients' transport needs by supplying and developing electric vehicles to serve their specific needs.
